A rooftop lounge that treats the Nile skyline as its fourth wall — fire tables, low seating and a pool edge that disappears into the city lights.

The project
On a roof, the view is the product. We kept everything below eye level — seating, planting, fire tables — so that from any seat the skyline stays uninterrupted.
The deck steps down in two shallow levels toward the river, giving back rows of seating a clear sightline over the front ones.
Warmth comes from gas fire tables and a canopy of festoon lights on slim posts, which read as a ceiling at night without blocking the sky.
Planting is in long, low troughs of grasses that move in the evening wind and hide the parapet, so the edge of the building seems to dissolve.
